Whether (aina) they are fools (mati hInulu) (literally senseless) (hInulaina) or whether (aina) those (vAru) (vAraina) who do not have (lEni) peace of mind (nemmati) or
whether (aina) great (ati) sinners (pApa kRtulu) (kRtulaina) or whether (aina) those (vAru) (vAraina) who would never (ennaTiki) attain (rAni) (literally come) state of blessedness (sad-gati),
O Lord SrI rAma, praised (nuta) by vEdas (Sruti) and epics (purANa)! is it in the capacity of even brahmA, indra and others to determine as to how fortune is it for them (vAriki) who associate (jata kUDina) with devotees (bhaktula) who (always) extol (sannuti sEyu) You (ninu) – who is unrivalled (prati lEni)?

Variations - (Pathanthara)
1 – cintanIya – (muni) cintanIya : ‘muni’ is given in brackets. ‘cintanIya’, by itself, makes proper sense; also from prAsa – anuprAsa point of view, ‘muni’ does not seem to be appropriate.
2 – pUjincina – pUjincu.
4 – smariyincu – smarincu.
